It's okay to change your mind

Personally, I can be very heavily influenced by the people around me. If I trust someone's opinion then they can sway me pretty easily. So my opinions on things change quite a lot. What some people don't understand though, is that isn't a flaw.

I've been told that It's a flaw because it means you're not very strong on your values and views. How can you really know what you believe? Well, you have to ask yourself that.

People are very set in their ways and refuse to change their mind, apologise or take blame. What they don't realise is, people admire people who say 'After looking at both sides, I think x' or 'since y, my opinion has changed slightly'

Everyone changes their mind, whether it's about small or big things

AND THAT'S OKAY.

Kind of like how people have a go at those who support lib dem because they are 'on the fence' and tell them to 'pick a side'.

I always wondered why those who are open to criticism, change, suggestions and opposing views are seen as weaker...

If you are like this, just remember, you are strong, you allow other people to challenge your views without becoming defensive, taking it personally or sticking to something you don't even believe in anymore. Just because admitting you're wrong makes you 'weak'.

You Are Strong!

Live your life girl x
